let's see... i'm in my 20s (there ya go rasta). i'm done with law school and currently working for the university of illinois. altho i'm pretty sure that few of you have found me on myspace through my day job.

i also have been DJing for over five years now... my first love on the turntables is house music. at one point in time i could easily explain my sound, but playing four hour sets that span a ton of genres really makes descriptions difficult. better to hear it than me trying to explain it. but if i had to use words, i'd say that deep, tech, fidget, funky, electro, jazzy and bumpin could all be used to describe my house sounds. like i said, better you hear it in person or in one of my mixes than me trying to explain it.

sometimes i get to play for crowds of dancing people. sometimes i travel around the midwest to play. every friday i play at boltini lounge in downtown champaign. and when there is no crowd nearby, i play records for myself.

like i said, i've played gigs across the midwest including chicago, indy, milwaukee, and cool towns like appleton wisconsin and columbia, missouri... in champaign, i've played at nearly every club that has a DJ booth (and some places that don't have a DJ booth), hosted two radio shows, and had residencies at Boltini, Soma, The Highdive, Nargile and Joe's. Music is what gets me out of bed every morning.

ummm... in addition to the vinyl obsession, i love politics, reading, rock and/or roll, and cooking. yes cooking.
